I am so blessed to be a part of Lanier Christian Preschool.  I love children!  I have 3 grown children and 3 grandchildren.  I am originally from New York and have been in Georgia for over 10 years.  I have worked as a secretary and ran my husband's office.  I have always worked with children in the church nursery, babysat them in my home, and I am very involved with my gradchildren's everyday lives.  I truly enjoy being an assistant teacher with Miss Cindy. I am so excited to be working with Miss Terri.  I have 5 children, the oldest is in her third year at UGA and the youngest (a graduate of Lanier) is in second grade at Haw Creek Elementary.  I received my bachelor';s degree from Radford University in BA in interior design, bur after several years and one baby, I realized that retail work was not comatible with our family life.  I was lead teacerh for a 2 year old class in Winston-Salem, NC for 6 years before moving to Brussels, Belgium.  Four years later we moved to Pennsylvania, and have been in Cumming since being transferred.  I have been blessed to have been able to spend that past several year as a full time mom, but it was time to get back to work and it feels great!  I look forward to getting to know your children and watching them learn and grow this year.

In 1983 I accepted Jesus as my Savior. My life drastically changed. I knew that God had a plan for me and my life. I graduated college in 1985 and began a life serving God by helping children. I started my career helping youth at risk in Outdoor Wilderness programs. In 1989, I met the love of my life and we were married in 1990. From 1990-1998 we focused on life, career, and making a life for our soon to be daughter. She was born in 1998 on a cold Massachusetts winter. We soon found out that she had a heart defect that required open heart surgery. We totally had to give God control. She is now almost 10 years old and a beautiful healthy girl. In 2001 our son was born. He is now 7 and is in first grade.  I started as a preschool teacher at Lanier in the fall of 2004. I know God placed me at Lanier and my constant prayer is that He gives me the ability to touch each child with the love of Jesus.

Welcome to Class 4B.  We are so blessed to be teaching your children this school year.  My name is Ms. Vicki.  I was born in California but lived most of my life in Louisiana before relocating to Georgia.  I have a loving husband William & three children; James (26), Kendra (17), and Autumn (16).  James served two tours in Iraq and is now taking classes at North Georgia College.  Kendra is a senior at Forsyth Central High School and Autumn is a junior. I began working with preschoolers about 20 years ago when I opened up a preschool in my home.  I am currently enrolled at Lanier Tech ot further my teaching career.  I'm a Wednesday night bible teacher and dabble in scouts.  As you can see I love children!  In the very little spare time that I have left I love to camp, read, collect angels, candles, take long baths, and drink Starbucks!  May GOD also bless you and yours this year.

I am excited share in the blessing of teaching your children this year with Ms. Kathleen.  All three of my daughters have attended Lanier Preschool.  They loved the school and have made good friends they still play with after 5+ years.  I grew up in Pennsylvania, and moved to Georgia in high school.  Then, I graduated college as a UGA Bulldog.  My husband is a LSU fan so it gets interesting in our house during football season.  I am a Brownie Girl Scout leader and have taught both Sunday School and VBS.  I look forwarding to sharing the love of Jesus with your children.
